This House Head is not pleased with what is going on. It seems there are a number of DJs not caring about their craft and using shortcuts for profit. They are using reality TV, celebrity status and modern technology as well stealing tracks and playing prerecorded sets at their gigs. They are harming the true nature of DJing and setting the wrong example. You cannot become a DJ overnight. It takes dedication, practice and full knowledge of mixing, blending and ear/eye coordination. It does not matter how much you spend on your equipment. If you do not have the basics down, you will not succeed. You are getting gigs you do not deserve; charging hundred of dollars to your fans and not giving 100% of your work and mostly your sets are not real. Your sets are prerecorded. You are pressing play and turning knobs. A two year old can do that. If you are not going to play a real “LIVE” set and give your fans what they pay for, step the hell off and quit now! Go back to the lab you fraud and get a clue!!
Case in point: These so-called DJs like Pauly D, Paris Hilton, David Guetta, Deadmau5 and others who you have seen on YouTube and other online publications. They are leading the charge of the manufacture DJ. No creativity, no respect for your peers, no knowledge the equipment, mostly no love for the music. They simply did not take the time and understand the meaning of a DJ. They only learn how to fool the venue owners, promoters and their followers. You must be joking!! There are a number of online videos on David Guetta using prerecorded CDs on his sets. Check out the videos below. Paris Hilton is the latest to claim she is a DJ now. She does not hide the fact those mixes are prerecorded. In fact, her teacher AfroJack, oust her and said he was disappointed. Dude, you knew she suck and a fake. Shame on you!! The reason for this article we are sick and tired of these fake, no talent, phony thieves. You do not deserve to be called DJs. If this keeps up, it can slowly hurt the underground movement. I refuse to let that happen. There are DJs who are as real and as pure as love itself. Those are the ones who will suffer if we don’t act and let these fake DJ know it is not okay to play prerecorded sets and take shortcut. Cut it out or face the REAL music! Long live HOUSE!!
