H2S Booking Agency handles established DJs with their bookings and current schedules. Bridging the gap between the international club scene and established artists in the ever changing Underground Music industry is a tall order. H2S Booking Agency focuses on providing these owners and promoters with DJs/Producers for their Nightclubs, venues and special events. We cater towards established artists who no longer can handle their busy schedule.
House Music is a genre of Underground Dance Music that originated in Chicago. It was initially popularized circa 1984 at Dance Clubs catering to gay, African-American and Latino audiences. Later it fanned out to other major cities such as Detroit, Toronto, New York City, Boston, Montreal, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Miami, London and Paris. Today House Music has been infused into various forms such as Tech-House, Jackin House, Disco House, Philly House, Deep/Soulful House, and Latin House etc…
Underground Dance Music (short version in music jargon: UDM) has been applied to artistic movements, such as the House Music movement of the late 1970s, but the term has since then come to be defined by any House music artist/band that avoids becoming a trend/mainstream nowadays. Other early “Underground Dance Music” artists include Little Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Larry Levan, David Mancuso, Frankie Knuckles, Nicky Siano and many others. In the late 1970s, the term Underground Dance Music was associated with the music initially played at places like Paradise Garage, The Loft and The Warehouse. Today’s Underground Dance Music has evolved from House and Techno into genres such as Drum & Bass, Minimal, Dub Step, Juke, Trance, etc…
Antoine Simpson, Agent: Antoine founded H2S [House Head Speaks] as a small blog. Today it has grown into a social network cater towards House and Underground Dance Music. He notice there is a need for an agency that handles DJs overwhelming booking schedules. He creates this Booking Agency as a vehicle for DJs to stay creative by allowing an outside source to book their parties and events at other parts of the US and countries around the world.
